Company
History...
Memphis real
estate pioneers Marjorie Coleman and Fran Etter formed Coleman-Etter
Realtors, one of the first women-owned real estate agencies in
the nation, in 1951. Fontaine M. Taylor became a full partner in
1985 and owner in 1987, and has been maintaining those standards
ever since. Fontaine ensured high expectations in both ethics
and practices for the company, and brought cutting-edge
technology applications to maintain the company’s standards. Her
day-to-day involvement in the company’s management and her
philosophy of customized service form the cornerstone of
Coleman-Etter, Fontaine’s operation.
In
Taylor’s words, "Whether you are buying or selling a home, you
are represented by our entire company, not just one agent. We
are a strong team." Approximately forty professional realtors
make up this team, and nearly half of these associates are
multi-million dollar producers who have been with the company
for over fifteen years. We are powerhouse agents who
consistently surpass our clients’ expectations. In addition, our
team is supported by the finest marketing, web management, and
bookkeeping staff in the region. This strong base helps Coleman-Etter,
Fontaine Realtors consistently rank among the top real estate
companies in Memphis, while maintaining a smaller, family-like
atmosphere.
